the submerged prairie of Posidonia guarded the Roman city of Aenaria for nineteen centuries, swallowed up by the sea due to a volcanic event in the first century AD. The ongoing archaeological exploration of the shallow seabed, rich in biodiversity, has brought to light the remains of a maritime villa with a nymphaeum, sections of walls and the ancient port. And the wooden structure of a quay, still under construction when the city was suddenly abandoned. An underwater itinerary full of surprises, to be fully enjoyed with a glass-screen equipped boat, snorkeling or a guided dive.
